Pence: "Hoosier Taxpayers Have a Right to Know How Their Money is Spent"

U.S. Congressman Mike Pence supported H.R. 2146, the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA). This bill would increase the transparency of federal government spending and save the government almost $1 billion through streamlining reporting processes, capping non-military travel, and recovering and preventing improper payments.

"Hoosier taxpayers have a right to know how their money is spent," said Pence. "At a time when our country is more than $15 trillion in debt and families are making difficult financial sacrifices, we must ensure that government is held accountable and all of its spending is transparent."
